Virginia Beach - The Easter Eggstravaganza, held today at the Virginia Beach Beachstreet Seaside Palladium at 24th Street and Atlantic Avenue (24th Street Park) hosted a fun filled afternoon of games, prizes and entertainment for all to enjoy. Pony rides, offered from the employees from Hunts Club Farm and face paintings from the good people at 93.7 BOB-FM and The Zone @106.1 were a big hit with with all the children.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts were also on hand offering doughnut decorating and the children's favorite, doughnut eating! Spectrum Puppets presented the show "Animal Crackers" with Flamingoes, bear cubs on unicycles, a skateboarding tiger, dancing ants, and an over-zealous anteater. Their production which celebrates the lively arts through puppetry and our furry and feathered friends was another popular attraction at this years Easter Eggstravaganza.
Magician, Randy Hermoso was on hand to keep everyone Mesmerized with his entertaining magic acts while costumed characters from Ocean Breeze Waterpark spent the afternoon greeting people and posing for photos.
The big event of the day was the Easter Bunny, who made a special appearance Saturday and met with all the children to everyone's delight. Every child who visited the Easter Bunny received a plastic egg with a valuable prize slip inside! Prizes include free games of miniature golf and bowling, toys, ice cream and meal coupons, t-shirts, and more.
